This is a view of binding in a trimmed Grizzly hackle with the stem between the wings a bit. The Grizzly will be the first tied in and the last wrapped. Remember the last binding wrap of thread you take toward the tail will be the point at which the hackle bends and the first barbs stand up. Tie the Brown Hackle in in the same manner on edge, shiny side toward you the tyer.
