Once you have the three starting wraps in place cinch down good and hard on the following wraps. If the hair wants to spin a bit, that's fine. We want a somewhat even distribution of hair around the shank. Once you are satisfied the hair is in place, bind down the cut butts well. You can over wrap here with out much problem. End like you see above with the thread at the base of the post.
