The process of posting the wings can be frustrating. Hold the tips while you wrap the base is one way to do it. Wrap up the post / wing and then back down.If you find you need more thread off the bobbin place 1 or 2 wraps back on the hook and then pull for more thread. If you pull for more thread while on the post your will loose the wraps or flare the wings, neither is what you want to have happen.
