| Start with a good thread base on the entire hook. This view shows my hand released from the post hair. This was done only to show the tye in area and the relative position of the post on the hook. When tying in the post material do not release the "tag" end of the hair till you cut it off at a slope behind the thread wraps. If you let go before the cut off, a large mess will ensue and time will be spent trying to trim the wayward hair. |
