A close up of the second Hackle tied in. Note, one is forward of the other,also note the thread based transition area just forward of the wing posts. This allows for a semi-flat area for the hackle to be "laid"upon. Any abrupt drops in the hackle wrap area will force the hackle tips out over the eye and make wrapping the hackle a task that your dog again will remember.
