For the body palmer ,bind in a prepared saddle hackle two sizes under the normal dry hackle size, i.e. for a size 10 use a size14 hackle. Keep in mind the TMC R200 is an under gap sized hook. The York bend produces a short gap size relative to standard bend hooks.
