		Spiral wrap the hackle back to the hook bend. Stop at the point seen above. The ribbing at this point will bind in the hackle ,holding it in place. If you tie in the rib short (forward of this point) you will not be able to bind the last wrap of hackle without traveling back on the hook and then forward...ackward at best.
